9. Safari Vehicle, Driver & Guide Allocation

For the first Jeep Safari, vehicle, driver, and guide/naturalist allocation are made according to the applicable roster system and operational procedures followed by the concerned Madhya Pradesh Forest Department authorities and safari operators.

The initial allocation generally includes:

  • Jeep vehicle;
  • Driver;
  • Guide/Naturalist.

The Company assists guests throughout the safari planning process; however, the first allocation is governed by the applicable roster.

9.1 Preferred Driver & Guide Request

Some guests, particularly:

  • Repeat wildlife travellers;
  • Wildlife enthusiasts;

may prefer a particular driver or guide due to their experience, knowledge of animal movement, photography assistance, or familiarity with specific forest areas.

Upon prior request, The Indian Voyage may assist guests in arranging a preferred driver or guide, subject to:

  • Availability of the requested driver/guide;
  • Operational feasibility;
  • Local roster requirements;
  • Confirmation by concerned safari operators/authorities.

Such special arrangements may require adjustments to the regular roster system and involve additional charges.Applicable additional charges shall be communicated and confirmed with the guest before proceeding.The Company shall make reasonable efforts to fulfil such requests; however, a specific driver or guide cannot be guaranteed in every situation due to availability and operational limitations.

9.2 Same Jeep & Driver for Multiple Safaris

Guests booking multiple Jeep Safaris during the same wildlife holiday may sometimes prefer to continue their safari experience with the same Jeep and driver for better coordination, comfort, and continuity. Upon prior request and confirmation from the guest, The Indian Voyage may assist in arranging the same Jeep and driver for multiple safaris, subject to:

  • Availability of the preferred Jeep;
  • Availability of the preferred driver;
  • Operational feasibility;
  • Local roster requirements.

Such arrangements may require adjustment or breaking of the regular roster system and may involve additional charges.Guests wishing to retain the same Jeep and driver for multiple safaris must inform the Company in advance, preferably before the first safari.The applicable additional charges shall be communicated and confirmed before arranging such services.

While reasonable efforts are made to fulfil such requests, the Company cannot guarantee the availability of the same Jeep or driver due to:

  • Operational changes;
  • Roster requirements;
  • Government regulations;
  • Unforeseen circumstances.

10. Safari Reporting Time & Entry Responsibility

Guests must report at the designated safari entry point according to the reporting time mentioned in their safari confirmation documents.
